I promised you earlier that I would provide some relaxing ways to reduce fat from your body. What could be more relaxing than sleeping and burning fat simultaneously? You may be confused at this moment, but it's true.
If you sleep too little, it causes hormonal imbalance and increases your craving for food, especially sugar-coated sweets, ultimately leading to gaining fat in your body. During sleep, your body relaxes, restores, and rebuilds. So, if you are not sleeping enough, you will lose energy for doing exercises and other beneficial activities.
When I delved deeper into this topic, I found some interesting facts. If you expose yourself to the sun for 30-60 minutes and sleep in complete darkness, your sleep hormone is optimized at night. Studies also indicate that you should stop using any gadgets at least 2 hours before you sleep so your brain can relax. You must aim for at least 7 hours of sleep at night.
However, if you cannot manage 7 hours at night, here are a few things you can do:
- You may practice power naps during the daytime.
- You may meditate for 10-15 minutes to calm your brain.
- You may take a shower before going to sleep.
Everyone is different, and you may find your own way to sleep. But adequate sleep is essential to becoming and staying fit.
