Other Impacts of Doing Exercise

When I started doing exercise regularly, I noticed significant physical and mental improvements. Here, I'll focus on the mental and social benefits correlated with physical exercise.

Increasing Happiness:

I have always been a positive-minded person, but when I started exercising, I began to feel even better. Later, I understood that this was the impact of endorphins hormone, which is released more during exercise. While I didn't experience any symptoms of depression and anxiety, I observed many people who were able to overcome such issues through exercise.

Stress Handling:

Due to the nature of my job, which involves high mental stress, I needed effective stress management strategies. With regular exercise, my overall mental stress level reduced, making me better equipped to handle critical situations.

Sleep Quality:

Although I didn't struggle with sleep quality issues (much to the dismay of my wife, who often complained about how quickly I fell asleep), many people find that their overall mental well-being improves with exercise, leading to better sleep.

Social Connection:

Being somewhat introverted, making new friends wasn't easy for me. However, in today's fast-paced world, networking with others is crucial. Engaging in group exercise activities provides opportunities to meet and connect with people outside of work and family. For instance, one of my friends met his spouse at the park while exercising.

I don’t want to dwell too much on this topic and take up your precious time. The bottom line is clear: exercising improves both physical and mental well-being.
